July 2010 ....SDR Receiver to be reviewed in the RSGB magazine RadCom CCW SDR Receiver

A pre-production version of the Cross Country Wireless SDR Receiver is reviewed in the August issue of the RSGB magazine RadCom. The issues raised in the review regarding the external oscillator input, 40m sensitivity and 30m sideband rejection had already been cleared in the production versions.

June 2010 ....APRS Messenger - updated with APRS over more data modes

The latest version of APRS Messenger now has APRS over PSK-31, QPSK-31, PSK-63 and QPSK-63. Six software receivers simultaneously monitor for APRS packets sent in all the PSK data modes. Users report improved reliability on HF.

April 2010 ....A new product...End fed Antenna

We now manufacture the End Fed Antenna, a high performance HF monoband antenna for portable or fixed operation from almost any location

The antenna uses a antenna matching unit to transform a 50 ohm coax feed to the 2500 ohm impedance needed by an end fed half wave antenna.

March 2010 ....A new APRS program...APRS Messenger

We recently released the latest version of our freeware program APRS Messenger which now has APRS over PSK-63 for high performance HF APRS.

The program now has HF PSK error checking, a frequency hopping receiver AFC, TCP/IP connection to other APRS programs and a receive only internet gateway. The latest version has a HF GPS beacon option for mobile use.

Worldwide on-air trials are running on 10.1497 MHz with Igate stations in the UK and US. It is also in use by the Net14 group on 14.1016 MHz. For more details click here.

October 2009 ....A new product...CCW APRS TNC Digi Tracker (now available with built-in GPS receiver)

Our latest new product for the amateur radio market is now available.

The APRS TNC Digi Tracker has been developed for amateur radio APRS operation as a TNC, digipeater and in-vehicle tracker unit. A version with a built-in Sirf III GPS receiver is also available. For more details click here.
